The store on the right is Lewis Silbert's confectionery, advertising candies, ice cream, and soda water on its sign. In the store window, Jewish theater at the Majestic is advertised. (See Candy)

Polar Bear, Honest Scrap, and Old Nut Scrap tobacco, starch, soap, and bread are all advertised on 123 Cowden, the building to the left. In 1902, B. H. Isaacson operated a grocery and notions shop at this location. (See Grocers)
